Johnny Cash’s rendition of the Trant Reznor song ‘Hurt’ was the perfect choice of score for this ID. We got an old man who sells sunglasses downstairs to the office to act as the model for this ID. Oh the deceiving world of media

Kinetic Typography is an extremely powerful execution style. To design an ID using that technique in Urdu is extremely difficult because urdu type can only be used as vector shapes, and not as type…..hence the challenge. I could have done a lot more on this. However, it had enough juice in it to run on air.

I wanted to start experimenting with footage and the current political situation of that time for this ID. I used the though cliched, but the very relevant scales of justice. Faiz’s poetry was the obvious choice as the background narration

The idea behind this ID came after reading the Kite Runner. I pictured a little boy living in a wartorn refugee camp and his perspective on life. I couldnt find enough time to execute it to the level i wanted it to. However, the output came out pretty powerful.
